I see a lot of reference on here about Minki fabric, could someone please tell me what this is? Thanks so much. I really enjoy reading everyone's postings. I have learned so much. Thanks again and happy quilting.

The original introduction was 'Minkee Blankee' from Benartex, the knock offs are all spelled similarly. It's like a very very soft fleece fabric, with a bit longer pile. Almost like a plush. It often has a texture, dots, stripes etc. Google Minkee for pix.

if you go to joanns it is the super soft plush fabric that is fleece size. some is double sided orthers single. i love the feel hate the fuz from cutting.
