Default Missouri Star Cotton and Poly thread.

MSQC has a great bargain price on their brand of 50 wt and 40 wt cotton and poly quilting thread. I ordered a few spools to try out and compare to other brands. Anyone use it and have a review?

I have lots of Aurifil. It's good thread for piecing as it is 2 ply.

My machine has fallen in love with Aurifil 50 wt. I have quite a stash of another brand. Machine doesn't like the black in that brand. I haven't tried the cotton/poly threads.

It is not a cotton/ poly. The MSQC brand is either cotton or poly. Two different threads.

I use MSQC poly thread for machine quilting. It's strong and smooth. My guild ordered many spools of the cotton to use for piecing donations quilts and it sews great, no one has complained. I couldn't believe the sale price. I stocked up!

I went to MSQC site and all I found were name brand threads. What is the name of MSQC brand threads?

I always learn from this board. Thanks to all of you for your input on the different threads. I'm glad the question was asked.
