Where do you purchase Misty Fuse? My LQS has been out for weeks and everywhere else that I have tried doesn't carry it. Michaels, Hancocoks, JoAnn's ? I have never been able to find any of it but my friend in CA uses it. I hate to pay shipping on one small item by ordering online. Ann in TN

You can purchase it on Amazon and eBay. If you order the larger packages, shipping is quite reasonable -- about the cost of a gallon of gas! Here are a couple of listings:

Does anyone know if Wonder Under is basically the same with the exception of WU being paper backed? I might like to try this misty fuse if it works the same. Thanks in advance if anybody knows.

Wonder Under and Misty Fuse are both fusibles, but they really aren't very much alike. Aside from not having the paper backing, Misty Fuse is an extremely lightweight fusible that does not add any stiffness. WU is very heavy in comparison.

It is much finer and results in a much softer finish.

Most of my LQS carry it (CA) so I don't have to pay for shipping. You have two choices. Wait until your LQS gets their order or buy online.

Yup, you can even use it to fuse things like Angelina fibre - it is completely invisible. :-D

This is the 1st that I have heard of Misty Fuse. I read that it is paperless. Can you tell me how you use it in applique? Can you applique piece be traced onto Misty Fuse? Can you compare it to Steam A Seam2?
