Where did I see it? I think someone posted a beautiful version of the log cabin. I did a search and couldn't find it again. It was in beautiful, bright colors and didn't seem to resemble log cabin. I'm wondering if the pattern is available somewhere.

Thanks!

Hi DJ. That was me--I had another screenname but had to make a new one as I lost the password.

I might have the directions upstairs. I saw the design on Simply Quilts. I tried their site and could not locate it. I don't remember who the quilter was on that show.

I'll check upstairs to see if I have the directions. I know I have plenty of the "pattern" I had to create to make each block. It's simply machine paper pieced using strips of fabric around a triangle , instead of a square.

Was it the Twisted Log Cabin - the pinwheel looking quilt they show on the opening of the Simply Quilts show? If so, the link is here:

I bookmarked that one just because it is so totally cool!

Just for future reference, when you log in, under the sign-in button is a blue link for "I lost my password" to get back in. That way you keep your bookmarks and private messages.
