Wow u guys kept the secret and didn't tell mom!! She received the box yesterday! I wasn't home when she first called. Her first complainedWas the postage! Cost us$37.00 to ship it and a garden ornament my DD made for her. I said yikes too at the post office! Then she wanted to know where I got the beautiful spread. Then said Ty Ty Ty. I called her back and when I told her I made it she was amazed! She said she had a friend who quilts but doesn't have one like that she gonna scleam! ( she's Japanese so remember that when u read it!). My mom was finally amazed! And she is a professional seamstress! Thanks for letting me tell u!

That is really nice. I know moms worry about us spending money on them but trust me you made her day and she must be very happy and feeling the love in every stitch of it. :-)

thats really pretty cool. I sent a quilt to hawaii and it cost 29 dollars. It was a twin size. Just shocking. When my mom was born stamps cost .02 cents.. funny
