Hi,
I am starting a memory quilt for my daughter who has been studying abroad in Thailand. I would like a monkey and elephant pattern to applique on the quilt. Any suggestions?

Well, I don't have an applique pattern for an elephant but here's a link to a wonderful pieced one...thought I'd share it anyways...

check out free coloring book pages, I'm sure you could find something there to adapt to appliqué

I am attaching a picture of an elephant quilt I made my grandson when he was born six years ago. The pattern is in Quiltmaker's All-Time Favorites Fall 2003 issue. I don't know if you can still get back issues that are that old. This was a blast to make. My DIL loves bright fabrics, so that is what I went with as you can see and it was way outside my comfort zone.

I also have a pattern for appliqued monkeys. If you are interested in that, I will try to find the name of it.
