Since you pointed it out I can see what you mean, but it's not what I see unless I look for it.

When the quilt is in use you won't be looking at the whole thing like that - the sides will be hanging over the sides of the bed, or it will be on top of someone on the couch or folded on a chair. I'm guessing that you won't see it once it's off your design wall.

I had to google Whovian, to see if I am one, and I am! (Dr. Who fan)

I think it looks like two digitized butterflies sitting side by side.

you wont see it when its on the bed. Toss a foot blanket or a foot quilt at the bottom if you do. It really is gorgeous.

Yes, I see him too. I like the choices you made for the borders. I love bargellos, they are so diverse.

Oh, yes, now that you mention it. But I see the corners of his mouth turning up, too. I think the others are correct that, once it's on the bed, you won't necessarily see that. Maybe it's kinda like most days--a bit of frown and a bit of smile?? Love your quilt though.

You are all so sweet to help me see the bright side of my alien/monster. I have pretty much decided on my borders and I will turn it 90 degrees when I use it. Both decisions have calmed my initial reaction. Thanks for all of your thoughts. I was a bit creeped out to have spent so much time on this and then had a "face" that surprised me.

I should have the borders on today and will post the results on Pictures. Thanks again, everyone.

Lol. Glad you solved your problem. What occurred to me was to turn it, but others already thought of that. It's beautiful and will look wonderful on your bed. Enjoy it!
