Default Monster face?

I just finished a Bargello quilt top, except for borders. BUT, all I see when I look at my design wall is a big monster face. I hope when I get borders on I won't see two double eyes, and a frowny mouth. I am still early in the border decision process, but I am leaning towards a light blue inner border and a purple outer border. I am not at all sure what sizes those will be.

Do you see a monster face when you look at this??? The first picture is the Bargello part, and the second has the two borders I am currently considering.

Yes I do, but I probably wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't brought it up first. I love the colors you used.

I think it will be fine when you are all done, monster will go into hiding and be quiet! I might try the darker purple against the quilt as a stop border, with the lighter border on the outside. Just me. Beautiful, I haven't been brave enough to do one yet!

I think feline fanatic got it right. Looks beautiful when turned. And I do love the colors.

It looks like a tiki mask to me and it's neat!

I'm sorry you are not happy w/your quilt , I did get a chuckle out of what you said though. I see eyes also but not a monster at all. I think it is very pretty. I would try turning it like the others said or I'm afraid you will always see the "monster" now that you have it in your head.

My sister suggested that I think of it as an alien. I am okay with aliens, as I pretty much hope when they find us that they are friendly. So, alien it is.

could see it as a "save the ta-tas" quilt? It really is beautiful.
