    It looks like the lime green is taking a deeper bite of the fabric in the pictures. If that is really the case, I would use that one on larger pieces of applique and the teal stitch on small pieces of applique.

    I did some machine applique taught by a prize winning quilter and she suggested using the blanket stitch. I agree with the other ladies that the teal and the lime look the best.

    go out of the box for a few and try some of the other stitches offered on your machine, like the feather stitch for example
