Like many families, my sister planted a tree to commemorate the life of a family member lost to cancer, "Dan's Tree." Ten years later, she used the leaves from that tree to print scarves for all of Dan's family. A lovely gesture, much appreciated.

What a lovely thing to do! I have Troy's tree, for my son who passed away in 2003. This year he would have been Grandpa! Maybe I could do the same for his son, daughter and new grandson. What a great idea!

This is very lovely but you can get started with tempera or acrylic on paper, textile paint on cloth, etc. I brush the paint on a leaf, on a piece of old newspaper. Cover with more old newspaper & rub with fingers or a brayer. Lift up, that's it. Nice to do outside. Don't feel you have to invest in snazzy materials until you get the feel of it. Then have fun at Dharma Trading!
