Default More Placemats

I still have the placemat bug. I did these in lighter colors and not my usual jewel tones. I still used the cats in these as well.....

Now aren't those cute!! I admire you though. I made placemats recently, and they didn't do it for me at all! Yours are just perfect though!

I love your placemats! But I am reluctant to make ones that have that large of a design/picture because I can't visualize how they will look when they are set for dinner. Would you take a picture of yours when they are in use? I have some fabric I would like to use but have just been hesitant for fear the table won't look right when the dishes and food are all on it. Obviously you have overcome the problem.

The placemats look like pieces of art on the table and it doesn't matter that each one is different, look at these...

Hubby and I live a very eclectic life lol. The food is what matters to us and what it sits on is second nature lol..food sitting on artwork always looks great lol......you made me laugh when you said you fear that the table won't look right and if it doesn't, that would create a problem? In my world there are no such problems. All creative work is beautiful, big or small, so go ahead and dive right in, you won't be disappointed.....it will al come together.

I was digging in my stash in the novelty section and found a panel with the cats to sew together and stuff and then just the sleeping kitties. I did the mats for the sleeping kitties and made a couple of the stuffed ones to go with my antique or cloth dolls that I made now and then....like Maggie Bessie or Izanna walker types....I will upload those in a minute....
