Cool New Computer!

I have been having withdrawals from the board...have been computer-less for 2 weeks when my old computer suddenly gave out a noise and smoke came from the computer. I sent it to my son who lives 3 hours away (he is my computer guy) and he tried to fix it, but I had to get a new one instead,. He was though able to transfer all files from my old computer to my new one. Just got it back today. Happy Dancing!

Isn't amazing that without a computer we feel so disconnected. I know just how you feel. Two years ago my Mac was in the shop for a week and without my iPhone I would have gone crazy. Different world then when I grew up.

Ditto here - just getting used to my new computer - have had it for about 2 weeks now. They did transfer my pictures but I cannot find much of anything else. You know what they say about "teaching old dogs new tricks"!!!!!

My son told me computers run on smoke and when the smoke gets out they're dead.

Good news on getting a new computer and especially for all your files transferred.

My old computer crashed last year. It was terrible not having a computer for about a month. My son talked me into getting a Mac. What a difference. It took awhile to get used to it, but now I love it. I'm still not used to it, but I still love it. I missed the board most of all!!

I took my computer into our "fraidy" hole when we were under tornado attack and my boys just laughed at me. I didn't care.ha.

Am loving my new computer!
Yesterday my son was able to REMOTELY get my printer to work with my computer...so mind-boggling that he could do that...but I am glad that he was able to. Sure is nice having a techy son!
