Welcome to the Quilting Board!

I am getting ready to start a small, maybe bigger lap size for my Ex-MIL who doesn't get around very well anymore, she is a great lady and deserves something to help keep her comfortable
Would love to see your quilt top when you get it done or as you are working on it.Originally Posted by carolaug

WIP - I like how it is coming out. Next time I will add a few larger prints. Half done...Originally Posted by carolaug
I can't wait to see the rest of it. I bet she is going to love it.
Done...I wasn't going to add a border since I did the brown border but think I may...next weekend I will do a border, sandwich and bind. I have two to finish. Thankfully one is a gift for the month of April and the other in May. I also just finished a quilt for a gift in July...Wow...What an awesome feeling...I still need to make a wall hanging for me and the hubby...I am trying to do some type of quilt project each month for us instead of giving everything I make away.
I was thinking of making a quilt for my mom this spring. Going to see her Memorial weekend. I recently (last week) got the Yellow brick road pattern after reading a posting on the board that someone used it because they had to do a quilt rather quickly and it was quick to piece.
I took a class and made a quilted shawl. Made it with last year's Moda Valentine's fabric. Decided to give it to my Mom for her birthday/Mother's Day (close together).
