Because of all the complaining, etc from the "get go", Mountain Grove Mo's WalMart will start carrying fabric again! A manager there told me yesterday, that it will be more extensive than it was originally and they regretted pulling out the fabric immediately! She said give them about 4 weeks and it will be fully stocked. They were in the middle of tearing down the shelving, etc yesterday. Can't wait!

Hoping that you will get a big, good fabric department. Our new fabric department in Lebanon is absolutely horrible. Don't think they will sell anything and then, once again, take it out for good. Just the tiny-est row of sleazy fabric - some fleece and some flannel - but you could NOT even find 3 coordinating cotton fabrics to make a quilt out of.

Hope it's a good department.

WalMart made a huge mistake on this one. Hopefully they'll add fabric back to most if not all their stores.

The cost of raw cotton has gone up a great deal and will probably be increased again due to bad weather and poor cotton crops. Manufacturers are having to increase their wholesale cost so consequently our retail prices are also increasing.

They told me that also a couple of weeks ago when I was up there. Can't wait to see what they have.
