    I really like your quilt. Using a walking foot, I would do vertical lines following your piecing lines. If I wanted more quilting, I would do the same thing horizontally. This should give you either lines or squares about 3 inches apart. He will love it. If you're nervous, a longarm quilter could do an overall design of cars and trucks, but it will be a bit pricey.

    I think you've done a beautiful job on your grandson's quilt! He's going to love it! I agree with the suggestion of others to keep the quilting simple.
    When someone mentions quilting, I go to pieces!
