I have to much blue scrappy material and not sure what to do with it. Most is from Men's shirts that I have bought around at thrift stores. Lots of checks, big and small. I just finished a Blue/Yellow so not interested in that kind of combo. Would grays and Black and alittle white work? Also considered adding a darker Red? Most of the blues a darker/softer and not the brights. any ideas?

You could do red, white, and blue, sort of patriotic. Any of those colors would be fine. Green would also work. I just try to get contrast.

Or blue and light purple. It has to be the right shade though.

I'd go for red or green depending on the shades of blue.....

I know this is out there but I just finished a "blue" scrappy quilt and discovered that I now consider blue to be a neutral, I was amazed everything seemed to go with it just fine.

Got any lime or spring green?
Or how about just blue and cream, to look like a very old blue and white -- all the same block.

I always think blues with browns and tans look good together. Check out Bonnie Hunter's quiltville.com website. She has some beautiful blue scrappies using tans, browns, creams and beige.
