We arrived home from Texas Monday evening and I unpacked my quilting supplies yesterday, except the table from Leah Day as that is coming with a friend with a trailer.

    - crazy curve ruler for class next month
    - strip tube ruler
    - 15 spools of thread
    - new spring loaded scissors
    - 8 extra large ziploc bags - great for toting quilts and supplies
    - king batting
    - Frixion pens that mark then iron off
    - basting spray
    - crochet cotton
    - clothesline rope for fabric bowls
    - Christmas wallhanging kit
    - quilt table with insert from Leah Day
    - machiningers gloves
    - bobbin washers
    - supreme slider and
    - 45 yards of fabric

Amazing how it all added up. With prices at nearly $20 a metre in Canada, I thought I had better stock up!

Looks like you found enough stuff to keep you busy for a while. We were in the states for a couple of weeks and I managed to bring back some really great fabrics too. It would cost me a fortune if I stayed down for the winter.

We stayed right across the causeway to South Padre. Where are you?

You sure brought back a lot of goodies. I used to live close enough to the border that we would go over shopping a couple of times a year but now it is too far. I can't wait until April when my DS and DDIL go to Las Vegas. She is going shopping for me and will be bringing me lots of stuff back. I have already started a list for her and lots of fabric is on it. I just hope that over the years she has figured out what I like so if she finds good deals on other fabrics than I have selected she will buy it!

I remember going down to Padre for the first time about 30 years ago. There was a trailer park, fishing dock and a little Mom and Pop resturant to the right of the bridge and nothing to the left. Came back about 10 years ago and just cried at how the island changed.....way too comerical for my taste.....glad I have my memories of the natural beauty that was there.

    Enjoy those treats you found!!
