How beautiful and touching, Slimply by watching her grandma, she caught every stitch, She will have something to to tell and share with her children. BEAUTIFUL.

My DGD has been wanting to 'help' me sew .. . . so I let her. She did a pretty good job for her first try. We were working on blocks and I didn't have to unsew.

That is so cute  It's amazing how much interest they have in it just because we do it...

However looking back it is the reason I started quilting.. My Grandma watched me while my Mom worked and she quilted along with my Great Grandma.. I got my first sewing basket from them... That is some of my happiest memories.. Hopefully it will be the same for our little ones... Warm memories and traditions passed on

It is great having her so close... I love it.. I do not have to play "Mommy" because she has a really good one.. I have alot more freedom to enjoy her without all the day to day pressures that come with raising a child....Then it also helps my DD.. When my GD is with me she can clean house or just take a buble bath and relax..

I saw a bumper sticker that said " if I'd known grandkids were so much fun I would have had them first"!

grammy Dwynn, How precious! Please thank her for letting you post her picture, and please let her know that we would all love to see a picture of her quilt when it is done :D :D :D
Being a grandparent is a joy, like it was said previously, we get to have all the fun. I know that I enjoy my grands and I cherish all the time I get to spend with them, too :D

Aww, how precious! Thank you for posting. She is a spitting image of an avid sewer. She seems to enjoy it! What a proud moment! :)
