I got a office type table that has legs that telescope at Sams and it works really well. It has three different heights.I use my spare bedroom as a sewing room so I couldn't use a large table and this one folds flat and I slide it under the bed when we have guests. It's not as wide as a banquet table but it's a great height for cutting and laying out things. I still have to use my large trestle table to pin before quilting.

Just a tip for your quilting room.....you can buy components for around $25 at Target or K-Mart. I have drawers which are stacked on top of a cabinet with two doors and a cubby hole thingy that is really for your shoes that I use to stack my fat quarters. I have those plastic drawers on rollers that work wonderfully, as you can move them around. I have a hanging magnetic strip (sold for kitchen knives) where all of my scissors and small metal tools are hanging. Hope these hints help a little.
