I am making this quilt right now!!!!!! Mine is 96" square just like the one that ManiacQuilter2 drew out. Also, you can make two more stars inside of the center one, my first star is 3" square and the second one 6" square, it was fun to make the small blocks.
Here is a hint: it is fine to make the "teeth" with flying geese in the beginning, but for the outer 1 or 2 stars it is better to use the half square triangles because you waste a lot less fabric that way. The outer triangles are huge...

Amazing doodle, go for it. ManiacQuilter2 has done a fantastic job for you. I agree that 140 by 150 is a tad large, but for our bed I would want 100 x 120 and I love your idea. If you decide to draw up the pattern let us know as I, for one, would consider purchasing it from you.

+To make a king sized quilt, you could make each square in the grid equal to 3 inches. This should cover the top of the bed and with multiple borders would easily make a king-sized quilt. Two inch squares with borders would make the width for a queen sized bed but would need some extra rows on top and bottom for length.

How are you ever going to quilt something that big???? It will not fit any long arm frames. That is huge! I would change the size of your blocks to create something a bit closer to a size that would fit a bed. And of course it does not have to be square.... Many quilts are rectangular.
