I must admit it took me a few days to get used to it. But, now I love it. My DH gave me a cubbie thingy to hold all my notions so I'm used to putting my notions away in it.

I gave my Secret Pal one of these last year. She loves it. She goes to a lot of workshops and retreats and always has a drink on her table. This keeps the drink out of the way if you use the bag or not. I have an older one that just holds the drink. It sure is handy to keep my drink out of my way.
    I love my life!

And here I was expecting to see a bottle of wine and some scissors - probably not the best combination. LOL
Pretty cool gadget I have one similar and love it. Especially handy to take on retreats or to class.

i'd be worried that the snips mistakenly go into the cup. it's clever, though

That does look like a wonderful item. I keep my coffee/drink on the other side of the room because I don't have any place safe to keep the cup while sewing. That would definitely keep the coffee away from the machine.

There is a bracket that twists up/down. You untwist it to open and then twist until you reach the bottom of your counter. I've had a couple I use for scrapping for years. They are wonderful and very portable.

I have a similar one that was made for scrapbooking-I think I've had it for 10 yrs or more. It came with a big insulated mug but I don't usually drink anything while I'm sewing so I put a regular mug in it and put sewing tools in it. I need to make a new bag for the trash part-mine came with plastic bags and they are all used up.

I have a tin can in the mug part and also have my seam rippers and other small items in it. I use the bag for small pieces of thread. I love this item. One of my favorite gadgets I have.
