This is beautiful! My Mom suffers with neck and back issues and reminds me frequently to get away from the sewing machine every short while. She has been making a lot of quilts this past year but works in snippets of time all day long... She truly amazes me. I am not sure this will help you. ( I know I don't have the patience to take the breaks she does yet...) Hope you mend quickly as your head seems to be swarming with ideas! Good Luck

masimmons, You have opened a new window in the quilting world! Your quilt is extraordinary in many ways. Thank you for sharing; thanx for being such an artist and sharing it with us.
Take care of yourself. I also have neck and shoulder issues (roll over in an RV) and now keep my sewing machine up high so I don't lean over to sew. Most people have a formula of body to machine that kills me.
Again, thanx!
