    What foot are you using? Sometimes I foget to switch my feet when I switch my stitch.

    I had the same thing happen to me on my quilter. If your thread is fraying when it happens there may be a nick in the whole in your plate try to smooth it out with a little bit of sand paper. It worked for me

    moving the sandwich to fast which is normal for a newbie to FMQ, ask me how many I broke before I realized that
