Default My Geese at the Cabin is leaving home

I posted this quilt during its progress to completion. It was so much fun and I am so happy with it. Hence it's position as my current avatar. But I knew when I made it that it would be going to its forever home this summer. And now I have to say goodbye - though I know my sister and her partner will be happy to have it at their house. Eileen turned 50 in July, Chris will in September - and our family reunion starts this weekend. Must be gifting time.
When I originally posted the final result - after 2 months of hand quilting - I received many favorable reviews from all of you.
One last look....... parting is such sweet sorrow. ( somebody said that somewhere)

I think this is the most gorgeous quilt I've ever seen! I hope your DS treasures it! If she doesn't like it, I'm sure there are many of us on this board who would LOVE to have it!

That is trully lovely. I'm sure it's going to a good "forever" home.
