Thank you. I checked the serial number, I believe it was made in 1874 because I did not see any Singer serial numbers beginning with an "I." I also have the belt but it broke when the guy at Goodwill was trying to open it. I feel in love with the cabinet before I saw the machine. I'm still in shock myself. I just took a Singer 66 and Standard (Singer clone 15) to the shop last week to be serviced. I was just looking for a treale to possibly put one of these in.

Hard to believe the old girl looks so good for being that old! She has been well taken care of. You have a beauty. Mine is early 1900's and didn't look near as good when I got her. Belts are easy to find on line and so are the little staples that hold them together. You did good!!
