When I was in New Mexico I stopped at one fabric store. The first trip I only spent $20. A few days latter, after the narcotic fumes had worn off and I was still dreaming of those beautiful fabrics that I had too have, I only spent $550 dollars. I thought I did well considering I could have easily doubled that as this stores carries a lot of south west themed fabric. I don't think I'm going to go to any fabric store for quite a while, or until I get the 5 UFOs finished.

Cant wait to see what else you buy. I love your patterns and look forward to seeing your completed projects.

I REALLY want to make a Native American/ Southwest themed quilt-my whole bedroom is full of Native American dolls and dream catchers, etc, which I enjoy waking up to every morning! I had planned on getting some Southwest themed fabrics on this shop hop, but just couldn't bring myself to until I had a pattern in mind. The shop hop came up at the last minute, (well, not the shop hop, but my participation in it did!) so I didn't have time to decide on a pattern. I have completed the shops now, bought a few more yards of fabrics, and the background fabrics for the McKenna Ryan patterns I got. I was in Arizona recently and didn't get any because I thought we were flying back or taking the train, which was our plan (limited for luggage), but we ended up renting a car at the last minute and drove. I did manage to get out before leaving and buy a couple of lovely Native American dolls, but no fabric!

A person can not have too many bags. I love making bags and I love your fabric with the sea turtles. Sounds like you had a great day and lots more fun ones putting together all of your projects.
