Default what I have been working on

Been pp this for my son now to add sashing and borders any suggestions??

Oh how pretty! I would pull out either the red or yellow and make a narrow border around the entire quilt. Then a wider border of your background fabric.

Oh, and yes, I'd use the yellow for sashing, and red for borders. Just an idea.

I vote for narrow black sashing, small black 1st border and slightly larger red second border. Bind in the gray background? I'd put different fabric under the blocks and audition them to see what looks best. Lots of times I will take a picture of the various choices....for some reason it looks different in a picture. It's a gorgeous quilt! I'm not crazy about PP, but I love the results.

I would use black (if that's your dark color). Since this is for a guy I would not use yellow or use it very sparingly. A little yellow goes a long way and can overpower a quilt.
