Lightbulb keeping foot feed in place.

I learned somthing that works great for keeping the foot feed from sliding all around.I covered a brick and placed it in front of the control, works great, costs little and no more hunting the control.

Yes, by accident I found something similar. I had moved my sewing machine and in its new place it bumps up against a storage tub under the table. No more moving around!

I will remember the brick idea for when I move it again!

Free is good.

Good idea - you could even make a cute little quilted cover for it.

I discovered this only today. I set up a 'old' machine near my kitchen this afternoon instead of sewing upstairs where I usually sew. The floor is wood and this old foot feed is metal and I was afraid it would scar the floor.
Looking around my kitchen for something to place under it I spotted a silicone potholder/trivit I had purchased at Bed/Bath and Beyond with a coupon. It was perfect.....no skid........perfect size. Hope this helps.
