I have yet to visit my LQS (actually very close) because I've heard from several sources that they have little selection at very high prices, and that they're not friendly. BUT I've been looking for 7 coordinating batiks for a type of bargello and can't really do that online. Tried by can't - there are either too many choices or too few. I may have to pay LQS prices just to look/feel - but worry that they have won't have what I need all together. Bummer. So I won't be the one that keeps that shop profitable. Too bad.

17.99...Wow...and I thought 9.99 was high at my LQS..I buy fabrics that I can not find or buy at Joanne's - they are getting more and more quilting fabric. But I also like to support my LQS so I try and buy there too...the quality there is outstanding also...and the woman is great with helping me pick colors and patterns.
