Default Patterns usinig "Quilt Blocks of the Month"

I am looking for patterns/ideas using my quilt blocks of the month from last year. Do any of you know any web sites that that free patterns/designs to look at to find one I really like? I've seen pictures of some quilts I like but have no idea how much fabric OR how to cut them or put them together.

I'm just a beginner to the quilt blocks of the month.

Any help would be sincerely appreciated.

Try doing a google image search for sampler quilts and see how they are set or if you just want to finish it and call it done--use sashing around each block & setting/corner stones to tie it all together and keep it square. If you feel more creative--set the blocks diagonally with or without sashing.

Do you have them finished and need to know how to organize them on a quilt? Whether to put sashing or not? My BOM usually comes with the final details at the end of the series.

I have the blocks finished but since there are only twelve, I need a pattern to figure out how to lay them out and how much other fabric I will need to purchase

Who did you do the club through? Sometimes there is a "finishing kit" you can buy that has the fabric and instructions for borders, sashing, and backing.

I'm presuming you did the BOM from this board. What size blocks do you have? Are they all close in size?

http://www.fabshophop.com/ has several free patterns that would easily translate into a BOM, with all the instructions written out for you!! When you do the hop, at certain shops you also get a pattern. There are usually 12 different blocks as well as finishing instructions. They are in pdf format and I just download them to my computer. I have several of them if you would like me to email them to you, just send me a PM and I'll be happy to send them on to you.

Need know the size of the blocks and how you want to set them, on point or in a straight grid. This will also help you decide if you want a square or rectangle finished quilt. Putting them on a design wall will help with that decision.
