Sounds like a win-win situation. Glad for both of you. Did your mum get the stitch regulater with her Bernina? It is well worth the extra investment;Makes FMQ so much easier. I have the Bernina 440 QE w/ BSR and I love it!

Lucky you!! That is a win/win situation. I just love my Janome; but wish I would have paid a little more for the Quilter's model...more nice stitches to use.
