Anyone have a Brother PQ1500S High-Speed Quilting and Sewing Machine. I have been browsing and this seems to be the kind of new machine I would like. It is a "mid-arm" (9 inches) and comes with extension table and free shipping for a reasonable price that I can afford at $699 with shipping included. It does not do embroidery which I don't really care about at this time. Anyone out there that has this machine? Any feedback would be welcomed. Pauline

If, so I have a Janome that is very close to it. I like it okay, I can squeeze in a queen size quilt.

I have a Brother Star 230-E which I bought in Australia while living overseas. I LOVE that machine, but wanted one that had a blanket stitch (for machine applique), needle up/down option, auto thread cutter and knee life. I just bought a Brother PC420 Project Runway Limited-has ALL those features plus a 7 1/2 inch throat. I bought the extension table for it which stores the knee lift when not in use and the table stores on the hard case cover. I bought it through Amazon.com which had the best price of around $440.00 with FREE shipping and NO sales Tax!! It arrived with the week and I LOVE IT!! It has way more bells and whistles than I will ever use since I only use if for piecing my quilts (thought I plan to use it for some of my applique and will try machine quilting). It comes with all the feet and attachments - including a walking foot. For the money, I would look into that machine before making a final decision-it is a great machine for less money and buying through Amazon.com will save more by not paying shipping or sales tax! Just my opinion--
