Got my Janome 6600P yesterday and played all day. I really am impressed with this machine, especially the acufeed system. It's quite spectacular. Very happy I got this.

I have a small Janome and love it, can't imagine how exciting a large machine would be.

Oh lucky you....I have one also and just love love it...ok until last night...sewing along on my flanell rag quilt and clang/bang/grind....OMG what is wrong...I threaded, changed the bobbin nope nothing still didn't work...got my book out and started the trouble shooting...It ended up that there was sooooooooooo much lint built up under the bobbin case...whoooo hoooo...followed the directions to take out bobbin case, cleaned really good, put bobbin case back exactly like it says (line up red marks) and Whala it worked...the rag quilt is on it's 2nd wash then into dryer...Yep it pays to read the back of the manual book....

When you have the bobbin out, look down into the case and you'll see a little white wick kind of thingy. It likes a drop or two of oil to keep it moist! I read about that on the Yahoo Janome 6600 group. Mine had started to sound a little rough but it cleared right up after a good cleaning and a drop of oil.

You have a wonderful machine, nothing compares to the 6600P in my book, nothing. Take care of it and it will probably be the last machine you need.
