Too funny. Too true.

I was the one to figure out how to frame the basement so we could expose the window or not. We decided not as it didn't let in any light anyway and was just a spider web collector.

Love your story. I, too, am married to Mr. Un-Technical.

AWESOME! you go Girl! I was doing something around the house one day and needed to cut something with a 45' angle. My husband starting trying to tell me how to do it and I just walked off, got my quilting ruler and made a perfect cut! he didn't say another word.

My husband went to work for the railroad at 18 and has been on call ever since, so he's no handyman. We hire everything out. Even hire someone to mow the 1/2 acre lawn. Figures he'll lose too much pay mowing his own lawn. He's right. I'm about to venture into putting down wood flooring with a man friend. Just need him to get me going and then I can take over all by myself. I painted most the inside of the house by myself. I need to figure how to replace the bathroom shower/bathtub unit also. That is going to be tricky. I might need some muscle to help with that project.
