How am I going to sew without it? I'm sad...I want to sew today and I broke all my needles last night...

There are some places on e-bay where you can buy a box of 100 needles.....I bought singer type to use on my kenmores 100 for 20 dollars :wink:

Wow! Thanks! I think I'll check that out! I was sewing a rag quilt with demin and I guess my needle just wasn't big enough because they kept breaking...so I'm off to find me some needles! Thanks!

Hi just read your post, you can get special needles for sewing denim. Ask for them instead, because the denim is so thick it pays to get the stronger ones.

i think the denim needles are sized 16.....

I used the jeans needles and worked great. No more broken needles.

And when there is nuthin' you really want at JoAnns for the 40% coupon (yes, it occasionally happens!), stock up on needles!
