I go back to work tomorrow. I teach Kindergarten and i can tell you after a day with 5 year olds all i can do is lie on the couch. I love my job, but August 1....really.
Be sure to post lots of pics to get me motivated by the weekend! Lol

Since my granddaughter is now a kindergartener, I don't know how you have the energy to last all day with a whole herd of them, let alone just one.

Bless you the teachers for ye are special!

Wow1 That is early!! Are you on the year round schedule? If not, then you should get out in April!!!

Maybe you can reserve some energy for the weekends.

School starts a different days. It is a local decision. I find quilting to be relaxing and head for my sewing room when I am stressed or exhausted.

Have a good year in teaching ladies, and when you can go to your sewing machine and start sewing.

WOW that is early. They don't start school here until Sept. I hope you can find some "me time" with your busy schedule. Maybe even 30 min a day???

Yep schools are starting earlier every year. I realize the classrooms are a/c but what about recess and the ride on those buses. I have taught at schools with no a/c but we didn't start until after labor day and even then some days were so hot my hair would be wet with sweat. I don't know who decided to lengthen the school year.
