I think I would like to do this... is there any way we could know about how much of each fabric we would need? I'm not good at scrappy yet, so I would like to have enough for all 12 blocks

Thanks, everyone! brookemarie - Off the top of my head, I would think 4 yards total (and that's a generous estimate) would be fine for the block centers and 2 yards (which is also a generous estimate) for the white borders. If you don't want to get yardage, this would also be a great project for a layer cake. You can find those at your LQS or http://www.fatquartershop.com

Hope this helps!
