Yay for Thrift stores! There are several in my area. Picked up a plastic "tower" with 10 drawers. Got it for $10 and am happy as a peach. Love Bonnie K. Hunter's scrap savers system and have lots of 2", 2-1/2", 2-1/2" x 4-1/2 "bricks" stored in the drawers. When I'm ready to make a scrap quilt, I just grab one of the drawers with cut sizes I need and can put a top together very quickly. Also like to buy the largest men's long sleeve shirts to cut up for "yardage." Bonnie has a youtube video on how to "debone" a shirt. Lots of fun!

Thrift can be so much fun WHEN you find some treasures. I'm disappointed when I go and not find anything, LOL

How fun! I need to get my thrift store fix. I haven't been in so long.

That's one of my favorite quilting books! The thrift shops near me are mostly old clothes.
