I have made a few also, but mine are Crazy Quilted, with trims, silk ribbon embroidery, and fancy stitching.

I made vests to sell but they never did sell very well because we have so much variety in our body size. What questions did you have???

I've made a few, they're great for keeping your shoulders warm in the office when the air conditioner blows down on you. Did you have a question about a particular pattern?

CKCROWL, I found your post, very nice. Can anyone recommend a good simple pattern, one that is not boxy and doesn't go all the way up to the neck in the front. I will give it a try. (gotta use that stash for something!)

simplicity has numerous vest patterns available- lots of different styles- dressy ones, fitted ones, ones with zippers, buttons, open ones...lots to choose from- just get one that is a 'lined' vest- (if you want it to be reversible.) walmart around here carries simplicity patterns - along with Joann's.
