    I have this quilt. My mother made it for me. She called it Glorified Nine Patch.

    Improved nine-patch is what I always heard it was called.

    I believe it is a curved 9-patch, but you could go to qulterscache.com where you could identify the block. Lucky you to have acquired the vintage blocks.

    That is what I have always heard it called by my Mother who is deceased.

    dunster, glorified 9-patch, that is what my blocks are called. Mine are from the book by Sharlene Jorgansen. My blocks are in a pizza box waiting for me to finish them, some 15 years later.*Ü*

    Have never seen this block, but thanks for sharing it and also thanks to NanaC for posting the tut. I have now added it in my favorites. Hope to make it someday. Along with the other million I plan to make.
