I just got my flyer in the mail for the Sewing weekend in Beaver Dam. I am kind of excited to go. It looks like there will be some good lectures. I am thinking about going to the Piece in the hoop one and the lecture about choosing colors for your proejcts. Anyone else going or have been and have an idea of what types of sales they have?

It sounds interesting, have you been there and what is it like, I didn't see a flyer. Is there a website?

I have been there and I really enjoyed it. Book hotels EARLY because we had to get one way far away. It is a combination of a quilt expo and warehouse. It is quite an operation and the sales were good as I remember.

I live about 8 miles from there and have been to the sale. Motels as far away as several hours are booked a year in advance. It's a huge event around here. My sil is coming from MI and her mom from AZ.

Thankfully I live about 25 min from Beaver Dam. Is parking for it horrendous?
Ooooh, I am getting excited now!

parking is not bad as they rent other businesses areas and they offer shuttle buses around town to the schools etc that host some of the seminars.
