Hi,

I was wondering what everyone has planned for the National Quilting Day on March 20, 2010.

What are you going to do? Will you visit a quilt shop, show, retreat, etc.

Will you be staying home and quilt your heart out???

My LQS is having an open house (with snacks!) and while there we can make pillowcases (for the One Million Pillowcases project) and Little Dresses for Africa.

I plan on making something for my quilt group's auction next week. Not sure what I'm going to make, but I want it to have embroidery on it. Maybe a small purse or a wall hanging.

I think my DH is planning on a hike, since the weather here is so beautiful, which means I can get a couple hours of sewing in!!!

I will be spring cleaning my house and getting my sewing and quilting things organized. If the weather is nice, might take a drive to a quilt shop to have something to do and to enjoy the nice weather.

Well lets see, I am in the middle of making a queen size Delectable Mountain Quilt for my neice, I just picked up two quilts from the long armer and they need binding put on them, and last Sat. was a trip to the quilt shop which had a huge sale with 50% mark down so guess I won't be hitting any shops tomorrow. Stay home and sew.

I'm hosting a birthday party for my DD. She is the big 05! :) And my in laws are staying overnight in my guest/sewing room so I don't think I'll be doing any quilting. But I'm doing a little today. I'm practicing my FMQ while working on a mini bow tuck bag. So far, I have to say that it is looking pretty good!

I'm going to go to one of the local quilt shops and pick up some fat quarters (and probably other stuff too) and work on my current quilt.
