Tomorrow is national Quilting day! Does anyone have anything fun planned?
I know my guild is having a quilters olympics day again this year and we have prizes and everything that we can win. We even have 2 sewing machines that we can possibly win.
Welcome to the Quilting Board!

Tomorrow is national Quilting day! Does anyone have anything fun planned?

I will be too busy tomorrow to sew, but will have all Sunday after church to catch up on my sewing - story of my life, always a day late and a dollar short.![]()
He who cuts his own wood is warmed twice, but she who makes her own quilt is warmed forever - SLR 11/7/2011
I am going to try to catch some of the free shows on The Quilt Show www.thequiltshow.com
Shopping! Looking for fabrics for my next 2 quilts.....will be great to shop for things that don't include groceries....LOL!
Seems like I keep getting pulled away from my quilting lately, so I told everyone that Saturday was OFF LIMITS. I WILL BE QUILTING TOMORROW COME HELL OR HIGH WATER!!!
Life has given me so much more than scraps, but I make quilts anyway!

I belong to a quilt group and there will be about 25 of us, gathering in a small church hall.
One of the ladies on the committee is going to make Lasagna and salad, and we have
been asked to make a cake/ cookies - for "afternoon tea".
We are being supplied with red/white/blue fabric to make a block and then they will be
put into two piles and two people will then each win a pile of blocks and they will be able to
make a quilt out of them. Such a nice idea.
So that will be in the morning and after our scrummy lunch we can do our "own" thing. I
have several Dear Jane blocks prepped to "hand sew" - that is if I have time after going
round to see what everyone else is doing !!
There will be a trader there and we will also have a raffle.
So, whatever you may be doing - I look on this list as my "international group" and wanted to
wish you all a happy sewing day.
Dot in England, UK.
I will be going to the Glendale Quilt Show in Burbank, CA tomorrow! Ready to show for goodies!
Friends will help you move!
Real friends will help you move bodies!!!
I get to atttend a show of upcoming fabric, patterns, "new" stuff. Yeah.
