Default National Quilting Day

It would be so nice if we could have more than just one National Quilting
Day! Today a friend and I were at Keepsake Quilting and got some fantastic bargains and then went to a few other local shops on our way home and got a lot to add to our stash!! Hopefully a lot of others got some great sales at their LQS like we did.

I didn't get to go shopping. But, I got to spend a wonderful day at our guild's sit and sew! It was great to spend time with friends and see all the beautiful projects everyone is working on.

I need a National quilting MONTH...all I managed to get done today was to sell a treadle machine and gather the fabrics for a class on Tues!

I cleaned out my thread box that has had bits of everything thrown in it the last couple months. I also pre-wound about a dozen bobbins-----white, beige, red, navy, black and one green.

And finally finished GD's St. Pat's dress so she could show it off for her mom and dad's ST.Pat party. Well, so her mom can show it off----------she's 7 months old.

Need to a personal sized quilt together for a guy at church. I've pieced a very simple block in the center, on point, and finished out with as mottled batik. Tomorrow's job-----------------or maybe I need to finish the chest of drawers I'm working on.

Now I feel really in the dark. I have been quilting for two years, and did not even know there was a national quilt day..
