I am looking for a maple leaf quilt pattern that I saw in a magazine some years ago - kicking myself b/c I thought I saved it but can't find it anywhere! It had the traditional maple leaf blocks (which I do know how to make) but had them made in 2 (maybe 3) sizes, and then the blocks were put together so that 2 small blocks were put next to 1 large block, so that the overall look was somewhat non-symetrical, kind of organized-scrappy, and very interesting to look at.
    Does this make any sense??
Does anyone have old magazines with maple leaf quilts that might look like this?
Thanks in advance if you do!

How do you all do it? A question just barely gets published and someone has an answer, a link, or a suggestion. Wow!

I saw a really sharp one in a catalog I recently got - and came close to getting it but realized there is no way I'd get to it this year so I restrained myself (yes, I do have restraint sometimes!)

I know it's not the one you were thinking of but I thought of it when I read your post... I just love that pattern but know better than to even add it to my to do list!

Watch, different people are responding. It's like having one huge collective brain. One part of it thinks of a question and another part pulls up the answer. Great group.

My husband would say that we are like the Borg on one of those Star Trek shows.. I don't remember which series it was that had the Borg...

You are all amazing! Justwannaquilt, I think the ones you linked might be it - if it isn't exactly as I recall, they are very close, and will suit me just fine for my next project. Thank you so much!
PS - As a former Star Trek lover, I totally "got" the reference to the Borg, and definitely agree.

And BTW, my favorite Borg character was "7 of 9", played by Jeri Ryan, on Star Trek Voyager. I know, I'm geeky that way...
