I'm using up my stash (at least PART of it!) and have had a ball with the disappearing 9 patch. I've only got 8 blocks done -- about 11" each. Has anyone made a D9P out of stash and/or have you ever put a sash between the blocks????

I made several disappearing 9 patches. Love them. I have used sashing in between squares as well as none. I prefer the sashing. Gives each block a distinct look. Happy quilting

I love making the DNP. I put white sashing and borders and hope to finish it this week. Penni

Thats a really neat quilt. I love scrappy and the sashing just adds more demension to it. Might have to try it myself. OH no, another quilt to add to my list LOL

Thank you!!! I've been using yellow as the two center squares....I think I'll follow thru with yellow sashing....I believe this block is HABIT forming!!! I woke at 5:00 this morning and wanted to go in and sew!!!!

Oh - both versions of the quilts shown here are cool!!! thanks for showing me pics.
