Have the turning twenty done, and quite please with my FMQ! I need advice on how to store it til I give it away for a wedding gift. I hung it up on a plastic hanger in the closet for now! I am terrified that it will get dirty or something. So how do I:
1. Store it ?
2. Give care of directions?
3. Wrap it up as a gift?

Any suggestions welcome!

A lot of board members make pillowcases for quilts. It would also be a cute way to "wrap" it. Plus the pillowcase protects it.
You could enclose a note on care instructions.
It's so pretty!!!

Wedding in 3 weeks and I like the pillowcase idea. Won't hurt to fold it several times I guess?

Susan, I love the pillow case wrapping idea. No more buying large bags or boxes and wrapping paper. Thanks a million.

Love the pillowcase idea and for a baby quilt I'll make a small bag with the baby's name that can be used later.

I've seen suggestions that when folding your quilts for storage to use tissue paper between the folds to protect the folded pieces from abusing each side. Does that sound like too much? Don't know.
