Thread: Need Advice on Price of Used Bernina's.....

I'm about to start shopping for a used Bernina. I can't afford a new one so that's not an option, even with their "special" financing right now (29.9% APR...YIKES) so I thought I might check out used ones. We have a local dealer here but I wanted to have some idea of what my "budget" can buy for about $1200. I don't want the embroidery/sewing machine. I already have one of those (different brand).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I bought my 640 without the embroider module. I paid 1600 she hadn't been sewn on and only taken out of the box. My lqs told me about sewitsforsale. Web site and there are usually several for sale. Happy hunting.

You can do an eBay search, putting in the price range you want to look at, and checking "completed listings" to see what machines actually sold for. You have to be an eBay member to use "completed listings".
