Need a break

So I'm working on a custom quilted wallhanging which is - how shall I put it - uninspiring might be a good word. It is a picture of a very large rock.......
I finally quilt procrastinating and worked on it diligently for about three days. Put the borders on and thought I was ready to quilt. NOT! After letting it sit overnight to view again in daylight I've come to the conclusion the first border is toooooooo light. :x
So thought I'd take a break and vent with my friends on the QB before I bonded with my seam ripper.
Thanks for letting me vent. I'll post pics when it is finished....

Yup. Different light remorse.
My sewing room is opposite the bathroom, and on my way to the bedroom. My cutting/project table is an easy view as your walking past it. I usually lay out fabrics that I'm auditioning on the table rather than on my design wall so I see it several times a day - sometimes for days. My first venture into quilting was a complete color disaster that reminded me of the colors that come out opposite ends of infants!!
I learned quick to think about it a lot longer now before I make the committment.
