    Need color help please

I purchased this panel of hoffman batik snowflakes...the snowflakes are navy blue, and background is shades of cream and lt blue. I need an accent color that will make this pop. Any suggestions?

If you have a LQS, I would take it in and check out shades of grey. Was there any coordinating fabric with it?? You might want to check out Hoffman website to see if any patterns were used with this fabric and what were the coordinating fabrics that were produced. I have some of the panel blocks from RK and I am thinking of using a shadow box.

Think of it snowing at the beach .... Now use those colors to set it off.

Or how about these winter scenes at Tahoe? I try to remember someplace that strikes me as a favorite place and use those colors. Ever do that for inspiration??

My choice would be a deep green that tinted toward the blue side....Like the dark green of pine trees.

Thank you all! Red, your link is awesome! I see dark, rich pine green and blue that leans toward turquoise....and guess what is out my window right now? The gorgeous sand and turquoise water of the Gulf of Mexico! Duh! Sometimes things are so obvious that I don't see them! lol. The eggplant suggestion sounds good as well! I will take the fabric to a LQS and at least now I have a focus...you are all awesome! Thank you!
